Goodnight Mister Tom Charity Showing

10 December 2019

The Bear Pit is delighted to be presenting a special event on 10th December at 7.30pm, with the production of Goodnight Mister Tom in aid of The Shakespeare Hospice.

Goodnight Mister Tom follows the story of 8 year old evacuee William Beech who is sent to live in the heart of the English countryside in the quiet village of Little Weirwold during the Second World War. William arrives in the village physically and emotionally scarred by the cruelty of his mother. William builds a remarkable and moving friendship with the elderly recluse Tom Oakley. All seems perfect until William is devastatingly summoned by his mother back to London.

Tickets will be £20 each, which includes a drinks reception with nibbles.
