The Shakespeare Hospice are looking for thrill-seeking fundraisers to take on this once in a lifetime challenge and if you raise enough sponsorship, you can jump for free!

You will be strapped to your qualified British Parachute Association tandem instructor who does all the hard work for you, leaving you to enjoy the invigorating feeling of freefalling before gliding to the ground!

You can jump from any one of over twenty BPA approved airfields across the UK and no experience is necessary as you will be given training before your jump.

This incredible challenge will give you the biggest adrenaline rush you could ever imagine and you soar through the air knowing that you have helped raise invaluable funds for The Shakespeare Hospice.


STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR AIRFIELD - With lots of skydiving centres across the UK, there is sure to be one near you.

STEP 2: MAKE YOUR BOOKING - Select your preferred jump date and reserve your place with a £70 deposit.

STEP 3: RAISE £395 (or more) - This is the minimum you need to fundraise to jump for free (you can recover both the cost of the booking deposit and the jump from your sponsorship money if you wish).



How does the sponsorship work?

We ask that you raise a minimum of £395 - This is split into 3 parts: a £70 deposit is paid to our event organiser Skyline when you register, a jump cost of £230 is paid to the airfield (the jump cost varies depending on the airfield), and the remaining £95 goes to The Shakespeare Hospice.

How can I fundraise?

You have the option to fundraise online, offline (see our guide for sponsor form) or both.

How do I get my £70 deposit back?

If you would like to reimburse yourself for your deposit, you can do so out of any cash donations that you receive. You cannot be reimbursed from any funds raised on your online fundraising pages. if you no longer wish to complete your skydive, your jump can be cancelled but the deposit is non refundable.

What sponsorship should I bring on the day?

If you have raised your money on an online fundraising page and reached the minimum of £325 on there you would just need to make sure that you let us know of the page. Once you have done that there is no money that you will need to bring along on the day.

If you are fundraising all of your money in cash you would need to bring the minimum along on the day but it would need to be in two parts. The first part would be your jump cost, this would need to be paid to the airfield by either cash or card. The second part would need to be brought along in a cheque made out to your chosen charity.

If you have not collected all of your cash in just yet then you can post date the cheque for four weeks after your jump to give you time collect the remaining sponsorship in.
