Strictly a Success
Hundreds of people swapped watching the real thing on TV for The Shakespeare Hospice Strictly Come Prancing night on Saturday (18th October).
The annual event saw 14 local faces and their experienced dance partners take to the stage.
Connor Clemens from Stratford District Council took first place with his partner Emily Freeman, while second place was shared by Nigel Peace, Vikki Thomas and Daniel Rimell.
Other competitors volunteered their time from companies including Waitrose, White Stuff, Johnsons Coaches and The Best of Stratford, while experienced dancers came from two local dance schools; Margaret Greenwood Dance and Intadance with Geraldine Rouse.
With pledged sponsorship the event is expected to raise over £5,500.
