New Young Peoples Hub Opens at The Shakespeare Hospice

Tuesday 23 September 2014
On Friday 19th September 2014 the Young People’s Hub at The Shakespeare Hospice in Shottery was officially opened. The Hub was created to house the Hospice’s growing Young People’s Services for bereaved children, young carers and young people with life limiting illnesses.
One of the Hospice’s young service users commented, ‘This place is awesome. It’s helpful because it helps you talk about that person [who has died] in a good way. It’s fun. People who work here are very kind, listen and care. I feel safe and comfy here.’
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to our Building The Future Together Appeal to fund the new services and the Hub. We cannot mention all our supporters individually but would like to acknowledge the following, who kindly made grants to the Hospice.
