Our Story in the Charity Film Awards 2018

Monday 05 November 2018

*Nominations are now open* to vote for our entry in the 2018 Charity Film Awards, an event which celebrates the success of film in fundraising.

‘Our Story’ – A film about young people’s bereavement was created by a group of young people who access the Children’s Bereavement Service at The Shakespeare Hospice in 2017.  It has been shortlisted in the ‘Longform Category’ of The Charity Film Awards (films over 5 minutes) and can be viewed here - https://www.charityfilmawards.com/videos/our-story-a-film-about-young-peoples-bereavement

Following the launch of the film during Children’s Grief Awareness Week in 2017, the Hospice team have taken the film into schools and have shown the film to professionals as part of a training package to raise awareness of childhood bereavement.

We would love you vote for the film, which would increase the exposure of the film further, which will help raise awareness of our valuable service and will encourage essential regular donations.

Voting is open from 1 November until 14 December, so please help us by making a vote and spreading the word via social media.
