Christmas Fayre 2017

Wednesday 13 December 2017

The Shakespeare Hospice Christmas Fayre was declared open by the big man himself - ‘Father Christmas,’ and six year old Jenson Knott who was visiting with his family.

The Fayre raised over £3K for the Hospice, which has to raise £2.2 million each year.

The Hospice was transformed into a winter wonderland, including a Santa’s Grotto, and more than 40 stalls sold a variety of goods and festive bargains, from clothing and toys, to chutneys and cheeses and beautiful handmade crafts.

As well as Santa’s Grotto, children enjoyed pony rides, icing their own gingerbread and Christmas games.

Over 30 volunteers helped to make the day a huge success. The Shakespeare Hospice would like to say a big THANK YOU to all who supported the Hospice.
